[edit] Defeating Archos Loth
In November 2007, Vaccaro became the first person to defeat Archos Loth. The Warlord he used to challenge was Talib-al Siir who used Nothrog Daggers, Cardinal Bromin x3, If You Still Breathe..., and Threaten to dispatch the Medusan Lord. The challenges were held during a Charity Event at Ron's Comic World; it was only the 4th challenge that day.
He later sold Archos Loth after being in dire need of money, ironically enough to the runner he defeated, Tony Williams. However, at GenCon 2008, Williams put the same Archos Loth up as 1st place prize at Midnight Madness, where Vaccaro took first and was awarded Archos Loth by Williams for the 2nd time.
[edit] 2008 North American Champion
At GenCon 2008, Vaccaro became the North American Champion by defeating a field of 47 players using the Free Kingdoms Warlord Niobe. He defeated Rich Carter, piloting Kerebrus, in the finals.
This was one of three tournaments Vaccaro won at GenCon 2008. He also took first place in Midnight Madness with Saunginel, as well as the 2008 North American Double Championship with fellow Jersey Native, John Zimmerman using Morghen the Unliving and Yavlo the Kindled.
[edit] The Return of Archos Loth
On November 8th, 2008, it was announced that Vaccaro would be accepting 4E challenges with his own personal copy of Archos Loth. His first appearance was at Ron's Comic World, the same place he defeated Archos Loth nearly one year ago to the day.
Archos Loth reserves the right to be retired after 250 challenges.
[edit] Orvac Granitefall
At GenCon 2010, Chris Vaccaro was awarded his own Medusan Lord to run, Orvac Granitefall. He took 32 challenges during the first GenCon, including 31 from Vann Lee of Michigan.
[edit] Other Achievements
Aside from winning numerous New Jersey convention tournaments, Vaccaro was also the runner-up at the 2006 North American Championship at Origins with Laird Jon Hawthorne. He was defeated by Justin Lacey who was running Durin Kortouched.
