[edit] Pre-Convention Announcement
The following was posted on WarlordCCG.com in the week leading up to Gen Con 2007:
- General GenCon Announcement
- GenCon is just a few days away and we are very excited! We have decided to make a few changes to the way things run in the CCG Hall because we are in a new space and are not sure how the space will flow for running events.
- We are in the same hall as last year, but we are in the center of the room instead of the far wall.
- Since we will not know how our event CCG area will be set up this year we have decided to package everything players will need into one simple package so we can keep the flow of the tournament area for events only.
- The event package will be $20.00 and will include:
- Warlord
- T-shirt
- Overlord Attack Certificate (one per person to guarantee a challenge against the new Overlord)
- Booster Draft Pack
- Event Promo Cards (These are free to participants even if they do not purchase the kit)
- T-shirts will be moved to the AEG booth for sale after opening rounds each day if we have any left.
- These packages are limited to one per participant and are available on a first come first served basis. We can not guarantee shirt size availability at any time or predict speed of sales on this item.

Swiss Tournament format with cut and prizes.
[edit] Overlord Rumble

Special Overlord rules will not be applied in this event, just the Overlord card as printed. Overlords will count as Warlords, and other Warlords may not be included in decks. Tournament winner will collaborate with Design on the next Overlord. Constructed Deck, all other normal Epic Edition rules apply.

Constructed Deck, Epic Edition format, Swiss tournament, with Finals cut on Sunday. Special Gencon Promotional card for all participants.
- Those players that make the cut after the swiss rounds Saturday will return Sunday for the elimination rounds and the chance to claim the title of Warlord World Champion. Can your Warlord take on the best? Will your dice hit the 20s when you need them? Now it’s time to put up or go home.
[edit] Poorman
This event was held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 3:00pm. This was an Epic Edition poor man tournament.
- Not every General has access to the same level of supplies, so we have leveled the field. Decks for this Epic Edition event may not include any rare or promo cards beyond the Warlord. Show off your deck building and playing skills. Constructed Deck event, Swiss format tournament with cut.
[edit] Malrog’s Destiny
This event was held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 8:00pm. This was an Epic Edition speed singles tournament.
- As the Destiny cult works to forward its ends, will you support them or oppose them? In a Speed Singles Tournament the victor is the player with the highest number of wins in the allotted time, losses are inconsequential. But on top of the prizes and accolades of the Speed Singles tournament lies the final fate of the would be god, Malrog. Those who have claimed one of the many Stolen Destinies will have a special role to play in this event.
- Malrog’s Destiny
- The Accordlands have been shaken to their very foundations. The river of fate has been disturbed and rerouted by the malignant hands of those who would bring the Dragon back to life and harness it’s powers. What started on the day where the Gods themselves were blinded will now come to an end at Gencon 2007, when the Destiny of the Leader of the Medusan Lords is finally decided.
- This is a very special Speed Singles event, designed to represent the final skirmishes and battles that broil over the face of the lands, in an attempt to find reason, and to bring order back to chaos. Will Malrog succeed in bending the fate of the World to his will? Or will the destinies of the few remaining Hero’s of the Accord be strong enough to hold him at bay.
- Those players in attendance at Gencon, who have control of one of (27) Destinies that control the world, will be in spots of honor for this event. Each will be backing the power of the Destiny he has won, with steel. While the event takes place, each victory scored on this epic field of battle will be counted, and tallied. At the end, each Destiny holder, starting from least wins to greatest, will decide whether his victories were in the name of Defeating Malrog, or Exonerating him.
- Learn More about the Speed Singles tournament format here. For this event, a trophy and great prizes will be awarded to the Normal player who has the most victories (Independent of losses) during the skirmish. This individual, who will be known as the Destined of the Accordlands, will receive as great an honor as is possible in the tournament, and will hold this title until next year when it may again be challenged by another. In addition, he like the Destiny Holders themselves will be able to cast a vote for or against Malrog. The final Vote, after all others have been tallied. It is very likely this vote will hold with it the power to shape or even un-make the Accordlands.
- In addition, each Destiny Holder, having proved himself a hero in their own right, will have a stack of a special Promo card: (Annals of Triumph). Each time during the singles that he is defeated, he’ll give a signed copy of that promo card, as a bounty, to the person who defeated him, showing that this person has shared in some of his glory.
